The LOSTWITHIEL TOWN BAND
The Lostwithiel Town Band is being trained and conducted by Denzil Stephens, and rehearses at Brunel Quays, near the railway station on Monday & Thursday evenings, at 7.30pm
There are vacancies for 2nd percussion, cornets front & back rows, and Bb Bass. Other instruments may apply to either 01726 821148, or 70346
The band promotes regular concerts with choirs in the Lostwithiel Community Centre, and is very busy throughout the year at local functions and concerts.
Lostwithiel Beginners Brass
Beginners are welcome at the Saturday morning sessions from 10.30 to 11.30am
atthe bandroom, the group now having been together about twelve months, so outright beginners would have to commence with basic tuition before joining the beginners brass group.
The group will be commencing 2008 with 1st year Youth Band music especially composed or arranged by Denzil.

Purchased with funds from the Lostwithiel Education Trust.
We need young players to join us and use these brand new instruments.
Chris Dingle, a product of Lostwithiel Beginners Brass now plays 1st horn in the senior band.
He is also keen on football and plays in a local team
